Juried Show 2018
The word "Giboshi" is the Japanese word for hosta, and it's our name for the Georgia Hosta Society's 29th Annual Juried Hosta Show, the longest running cut leaf hosta show in the United States. The show—free to all—will be open for public viewing on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 9:30 am until 3:30 pm at the Fellowship Hall of the First Baptist Church of Tucker, 2367 Main Street, Tucker, Georgia. Awards will be presented and winners—both hosta and human—will be introduced at a brief 1:00 pm ceremony.
Why not join us by entering the show? There are no entry fees. Submit your finest leaves and container-grown hostas to compete for ribbons and awards. Submissions will be accepted on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm and Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 7:00 am - 8:30 am. Access to the drop-off area for show entries is in the rear of the First Baptist Church of Tucker Fellowship Hall off Lynburn Avenue between 4th Street and Main Street. Off-street parking is accessible from Lynburn Avenue.

Annual Sale 2018
Throughout the year, we offer our members great opportunities to purchase hostas and companion plants. But the pièce de résistance of buying opportunities is our Annual Plant Sale held in conjunction with the Juried Hosta Show. On Saturday, May 12, we’ll hold our 29th Annual Sale at the First Baptist Church of Tucker, located at 2367 Main Street. Check out the vendors we've lined up for this year's extravaganza.
